When You're Light on Content, Paco the Wonder Dog Comes Through!Easy Weight Loss

We've been going to our current vet for almost two years now, plus sometimes we board Paco there when we travel.  I have been really really happy with everyone at this animal hospital, but when I brought him in a couple of weeks ago for a little mouth infection, we were taken to an exam room and this is what I saw:

Paco was getting a continual supply of treats from his buddy Dustin.

That scene surprised me because normally Paco is glued to my legs when we go to the vet, but he went straight to Dustin.  I said this was unusual, and that's when I found out that whenever we board Paco (which isn't all that often) everyone knows that he belongs to Dustin - I love that so much!  You always hope your pet is being well-cared for when they are boarded but seeing this showed me that Paco goes to a very good place.

And in case you are thinking Paco was just in it for the treats, that would be a no.  He isn't food-centric and IF he takes a treat from a tech or the vet he usually just drops it on the floor; Paco won't be bribed.  Unless it's Dustin doing the bribing.

Speaking of Paco, he was disappointed to not give his personal thanks to each birthday wish on his teenage post, but hey, when Mom is not feeling good, not much happens.  Better late than never - so here goes:

Now that I'm feeling better I hope to have some more exciting subjects to write about.  Ooh I just thought of one:  how much candy does it take to get through a herniated disc?  It's a work in progress at the moment.
