ELEVEN YEARS!Easy Weight Loss

Tomorrow this blog turns 11 years old.  ELEVEN!  Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd still be blogging in 2019.  There were many times when I thought I'd said all I had to say regarding losing weight, maintaining weight, exercise, and running...oh, and injuries.  But then I got the mother of all injuries - this frickin' frackin' herniated disc - and I have an entirely new subject to write about.  One that I much rather prefer to never have to write about, truth be told.

This is such an isolating injury - I've lost the ability to do many of the things that connected me with people, and I spend a lot of time alone now.  But getting an email from a reader who has gone through the same thing, and hearing from my regular commenters along with some of you who read but have never commented before?  That means so much to me and reminds me that I'm not alone in this.  Blogging has connected me with people in ways that I couldn't have fathomed back when I started this blog in 2008, and I thank you all for sticking with me.  Here's hoping that I will have more than a herniated disc to write about for year 11 - a change of subject cannot come soon enough, believe me!

Oh, Paco just reminded me that I've had more to write about over the years than diet and exercise...namely, him!  After all, this is home of Paco the wonder dog - how could I have forgotten that?
